The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of the UGC NET December 2025 examination today, 04 February 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official website or click here to check.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects across the country. The exam was held over six days, in 11 shifts, at 663 examination centres located in 283 cities nationwide.

As per the results declared, 5,108 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor, 54,713 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor and PhD admission, while 1,17,058 candidates have qualified for PhD only.
NTA stated that the result has been prepared based on the final answer keys, which were finalised after reviewing challenges raised by candidates. The provisional answer keys, question papers, and recorded responses were hosted on the official website from 14 January to 17 January 2026 to ensure transparency in the evaluation process.
